I have never met a cupcake I didnt like. For that matter, I dont think I have ever met someone who does NOT  like cupcakes. With my stepfather’s birthday coming up, I was on the hunt for the perfect treat. So asked friends where to find the best cupcakes in the Ventura County area.

Immediately, Cupcakery was at the top of their list. Run by a Mother and Daughter team, this Cupcake Bakery is the best place around. With the adorable boutique decor and feel you open the door to the most incredible smell – cupcakes! I was so excited by their everyday selections and daily specials. I made my selections, and chatted with the owner. She was as sweet as her treats. The Cupcakery does large orders for birthday parties, baby showers, weddings or the celebration of your choice.

“Up!” Inspired Engagement Shoot : Wildflower Photography

A few months ago one of my best friends called me to say that when she gets married she wants her wedding to be inspired by the movie “UP!”. I giggled, told her she was crazy and when the time comes if that is what she wants, I would help make it happen.

Then, I met the mother of the bride of this couple and she told me I HAD to check out the “Up” inspired engagement shoot by Wildflowers Photography.  I rushed home to google this super cute idea and could not be more pleased with the results of my search. These photos are so great! The brilliance is romantic, playful and absolutely perfect.

If you have seen the Disney Pixar movie, you can appreciate the details they brought into this shoot. I now cannot wait for my friend to get engaged so we can also use this brilliant movie as our inspiration!

Today, like many other days I find myself head over heels inspired by LOVE. The love two people share pretty much is the reason I wake up everyday and do what I do. I love the word love. I love the idea of love.
